Daily Briefings

Automatically generate and send daily risk briefings to WhatsApp agents. Keep technicians and coordinators proactively informed about fleet health.

Daily Briefings

Maintenance technicians start each shift with an implicit question: what's broken today? Without a centralized information source, answering that requires checking multiple systems, talking to the outgoing shift, and waiting for problems to surface. Rela AI's Daily Briefings eliminate that friction by automatically sending a fleet situation analysis directly to each responsible agent's WhatsApp.

Each briefing is generated by the AI system based on the actual state of assets, active alerts, and recent interventions. It's not a generic report — it's an intelligent assessment that prioritizes the most relevant information so that the technician or coordinator can take immediate action at the start of their shift.

The frequency, send time, and content of the briefing are configurable per team or area. A night shift coordinator can receive their briefing at 10 PM, while the maintenance manager receives it at 7 AM with a full fleet overview.

What is it for?

  • Keep technicians and coordinators informed at the start of each shift without manual effort
  • Detect at-risk equipment before it causes failures or unplanned shutdowns
  • List interventions completed in the previous period for traceability
  • Provide a consolidated view of fleet health with a single message
  • Reduce shift startup time by centralizing critical information
  • Ensure no one starts work without knowing the status of the assets under their responsibility

How does it work?

The Daily Briefings module runs an automated process on the configured schedule for each recipient group:

Asset health assessment: The system analyzes the predictive status of all assets in the briefing's scope: health score, active alerts, degradation trends, and estimated time until intervention required. Assets are classified into three categories: healthy (no action required), at risk (close monitoring recommended), and critical (intervention needed).

At-risk equipment detection: Using Rela AI's predictive models, the system identifies assets showing accelerated degradation patterns or that have crossed alert thresholds. These assets are explicitly listed in the briefing with the reason for the detected risk.

Recent intervention inventory: The briefing includes a list of interventions completed in the last 24 hours (or the configured period): which asset was serviced, what was done, and who executed it. This gives the technician context on work already completed.

AI generation: An AI agent writes the briefing in natural language, adapting the tone and level of detail to the recipient's profile. The text is readable and actionable — not a data dump, but a useful narrative.

WhatsApp delivery: The generated briefing is automatically sent to the WhatsApp agent configured for that recipient. The technician receives it as a normal message in their conversation with the Rela AI agent.

Using the Dashboard

To configure Daily Briefings, navigate to Agents > Daily Briefings in the side menu.

Create a new briefing: Click "New Briefing" and configure:

  • Recipient: Select the WhatsApp agent that will send the briefing.
  • Scope: Define which assets or areas to include (all, by site, by category).
  • Schedule: Configure the send time with cron format or visual selection.
  • Content: Enable or disable sections (fleet health, at-risk equipment, recent interventions).

Briefing history: From the list of configured briefings, you can see the last sends performed, including the date, recipient, and generated text. This lets you verify the system is working correctly and review previous briefings.

Preview: Before activating a briefing, you can request a preview with real data to verify that the content and format are as expected.
