The Dashboard

Dashboard overview: costs, agents, assets, alarms, tasks and where to find each section of the product.

The Dashboard

The Rela AI dashboard is the screen you land on every morning. It consolidates the previous day's costs, active agent status, open alarms and shortcuts to the sections you use most. This page is the map to navigate it without getting lost.

What is it for?

  • Start the shift with context: what happened last night, which alarms are still open, which tasks are due today.
  • Control AI costs in one unified panel (Gemini + Postmark + Brave Search) with per-service breakdown.
  • Jump to the right module from the sidebar without remembering URLs.

How it works

The dashboard aggregates day/week/month metrics server-side across the operational collections (_machine_events, _alerts, _tasks, _ai_usage). Each widget queries its endpoint under /api/v1/dashboard/* and refreshes with the selected period. The sidebar is static — always exposing the same top-level sections (agents, assets, maintenance, data, admin).

When to use this

Refer to this page when you have just signed in and want to understand what each dashboard section means, or when you need to quickly find where something is configured in the platform.

Real-world example: You are an industrial plant administrator. Every morning you open the dashboard to review the previous day's costs, verify that your agents are active, and check pending data extractions.


Overview

The Dashboard is your control center. From here you can monitor all your agent activity, costs, and data in one place.

Main Panel

  • Cost breakdown — Costs for the current period broken down by service: AI Services (with sub-items: WhatsApp, Extraction, Email, Vision, Notification) and Total.
  • My Agents — Quick view of your active WhatsApp and email agents.
  • Quick actions — 5 shortcuts to create agents, tools, collections, departments, and more.
  • Recent activity — 3 tabs with the most recent activity: WhatsApp, Email, and Extractions.

Your dashboard shows...

When you log in, you will see four main areas. Here is what each one means:

  • Cost breakdown — How much your organization is spending this month on AI services. If you see an unexpected increase, check which agent is consuming the most tokens in AI Usage.
  • My Agents — Your active agents and their status. If an agent appears inactive, it may need a WhatsApp number reconnection or email account re-authentication.
  • Quick actions — Shortcuts for the most common operations. Use these instead of navigating through menus when you need to create resources quickly.
  • Recent activity — The latest interactions from your agents. The three tabs (WhatsApp, Email, Extractions) let you monitor what is happening in real time.

Costs and Usage

The dashboard shows a monthly cost summary with markup applied. Costs are broken down by:

  • AI Services — Tokens consumed, broken down into sub-items: WhatsApp, Extraction, Email, Vision, and Notification.
  • Total — Grand total of all costs for the period.
